This large city, with an area of over 730 square kilometers, is considered the beating heart of Iran. Tehran was initially a small village in the southern part of the city, but with the coming to power of the Safavids, King Zandiyeh, special attention was paid to this village and many changes occurred in it. King Shah Tahmasp of that time built many buildings and places in this village and built a strong fence around the village, which caused many people to come to live in this place. During the Qajar rule, this village, which had become a city, was chosen as the capital and many buildings were built in it, and traces of that era can still be seen in every corner of the city.
Tehran, as the capital of Iran, is one of the oldest cities that has witnessed many events throughout history. In some parts of its history, it has spent very peaceful days, and in other parts, it has spent turbulent days and witnessed strange events. If we study a little about the history of Tehran, we will see that every alley and street is like a page of a thick book, telling a story about the history of this historical city. Historical places in Tehran can sometimes be an ordinary house that narrates the life of an ordinary and yet
influential person, and sometimes they can be royal palaces that have witnessed important and strange events throughout history.
